My career in public education began in central Ohio, teaching 3rd grade and gifted education. In my 32 years as an educator, I have served as a general education and gifted education teacher in grades K-5; directed TCSD’s gifted education program; Director of Curriculum & Instruction; Principal of Wilson, Alta, Kelly, and Moran Schools; Director of Teaching and Learning; co-Principal of Colter School; and JES/CES Reconfiguration Project Lead.
I am thrilled to begin my 8th year at Jackson Elementary, and am honored to serve the students, teachers, and parents as Principal. I believe ALL students can learn in a safe and caring environment in concert with a dynamic and high-quality teacher, and through my leadership I will work with teachers and families to ensure our students are learning, and love to come to JES to learn!
My husband, Greg, is a 7th and 8th grade history teacher at Jackson Middle School, and I have 2 children , one is a TCSD graduate and the other is a senior.
